Two schools with Basic account where students can sign up for classes with same sign-in

I have students in a private school setting that go to my school, Revelation Science, and another school, The Training Center.  Students are associated with whichever school they first use a class code for.  They are never asked what school, so there is no way to link the accounts.  The end result is the second school they sign up for is not able to respond to private messages to students or send them, regardless of their privacy settings.

We tried linking accounts, but the system says that is not possible, because the student has one sign-in that applies to both schools and all their courses.

Not being able to communicate with students is not acceptable and we have used trial and error to remedy the issue, however, nothing is working.

Tech Support is not available and I am out of ideas.  Help is sooo appreciated.

    Hi Karen,

    Thank you for posting your question in the Schoology Community.

    The students can delete their accounts following the steps in this article. Once the emails are freed they can be used to associate with different schools.
