Unable to see jpg or png documents

I made an assignment in which students had to post a picture and I keep getting the document conversion in progress message and it kind of seems that it never goes away. Some files are jpg and some png. How do I fix this?

    To troubleshoot this issue further we will have to look into your setup and will require access to your site. To protect your data privacy, I recommend working with your System Admins who should be able to out to the Schoology Support team to investigate this issue further.

    I got around this problem by downloading the students submission.
