Course Analytics not updating hourly


My Course Analytics is not updating hourly, in fact it sometimes does not update after 3:10 or 4:10 pm until the following day.  How do I fix this as this is one way to see if students are accessing my course material in distance learning?  Also my historical data is showing no views and has never shown any views of the materials and I know that students are completing these assignments/discussions and tests.
