Odd Audio and Video Issue on Schoology Conferences

Just this week, I have a handful of students in each class that cannot hear me or see my video/presentation on Conferences.  They can see and use the chat just fine, but nothing else.  It. is very frustrating.  I have had them log off and on several times, restart their computer, push updates, clear browser data, and check their audio settings.  Still nothing.  Is this happening to anyone else?  I am at a loss and my tech department doesn't seem to believe me that this is happening.
