Can you set due dates with student completion?

Seguir

Hi,

Can you set due dates with student completion?  My main concern is that the tasks(assignments, quizzes, discussions) do not show up in the gradebook nor do they show up in the upcoming events.   Is there a way around this?   I wanted to use the student completion feature to prevent students from skipping around their assignments.  For instance, I would like students to be able to a pre reading activity(like a quiz or a discussion post) that gets graded, then a reading with a reading guide that gets graded, then a post reading activity(like a quiz that gets graded).  I often have students skip the other activities and just do the quiz.   I also have language learners and special education children that get lost in all that there is in schoology and the student completion helps chunk the material for them but it does not help organize their tasks for the week.  I guess I just won't use this feature if I cannot grade from it or if the kids cannot see the upcoming events to keep them organized.
