Error Uploading Files


Recently before the global pandemic had its outbreak, I've been having troubles uploading my assignments on Schoology. My files are stuck on 'Uploading' or do not load at all. I meet all the system requirements. My internet connection is stable, I've restarted my computer, and I've refreshed my page over and over again, nothing works. Please help!

    Hi Cindy,

    Are you still experiencing this issue? 

    What kinds of files are you attempting to submit? Where are you submitting them to? (Regular Schoology Assignment, Google Drive Assignments App, CK12, etc.) 

    Is this behavior consistent across browsers?

    I am facing the same issue while uploading assignments and I have change browsers and checked everything.

    I notice that there are a couple of threads reporting this issue. I now have 2 students in our school who have reported this issue this week.  When submitting a document, the file upload just sits at the uploading stage and never progresses.  They are using Chrome on Windows laptops (one is using a Lenovo Thinkpad and the other is using a personal Windows Surface Pro).

    We have cleared cache and tried Edge with no change in results.  This is extremely frustrating to students who are trying to submit their assignments on time and we have no work around for them.  Do you have any troubleshooting suggestions?

    I solved this particular issue. Out of my hundreds of students I used to always have 3 or 4 who say: "I can't upload, it's stuck". In almost every case it is caused by the PC time not being synchronized. So they have their time zone incorrectly set in windows, or set the time to manual. 
    So go to date time in windows and check the time zone, the time server (can be either internet or a school/company server) and if it's set to automatically adjust. Also check your region setting in windows, which can influence the date/time and also Daylight Savings.

    So Schoology, this has nothing to do with system requirements!
