customize notifications

Is there a way to receive course notifications only from teachers? Parents are posting assignments on the update section and I don't want to receive them. I have post how to submit their assignments but they don't care.

    Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

    There is not a way to customize the menu notifications you receive in Schoology. You may customize email notifications per course or group but not per person.

    I think it would be great if we could dropdown from notifications and see notifications BY COURSE.  LIke a filter for notifications maybe?
