Student Google Assignment Updates when master copy is Updated

Seguir

right now if I find I made a mistake on a Google assignment (I'm sure it happens to other people especially right now with how quick a lot of us are adapting old materials and creating new materials) I have to either A) try to talk my kids how to fix it through distance learning (that didn't work by the way even with video) OR  B) for me to individually go in and change 125 individual assignments...

Let's just say I've been doing this for 2+ hours and I'm about have way done...

    Hi Ms. Bergold,

Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback.

I understand how frustrating that must be!

The reason why edits to the master copy won't transfer to student copies is due to Google privacy settings. Once a student opens the assignment, a unique copy is created for them that is separate from the master copy. However, students who haven't yet created a copy will see the changes reflected when they open the assignment.

Because this is not something we can change on our end, I'm going to go ahead and move this to the Instructor Q&A forum to help others who are looking for an answer for this same feature.

    Best,
