Is there a way to back-up (archive) a complete course externally without having to do it one by one?

    Hi Renay,

You can save your course to Resources and then export the entire course from Resources.

Please see this article for instructions on saving your course to Resources: How do I save my course?

After you have saved your course:

    1. Click Resources in the top menu.
    2. Select Personal from the left menu of the Resources area.
    3. Click the down arrow in the left column of your personal resources.
    4. Select Export to export a Schoology Resource Collection as a Common Cartridge file.

Please note, however, the Common Cartridge file version that is exported (v1.2) does not support the following content:

    • SCORM
    • Media Albums
    • Matching questions with more than one blank
    • Fill-in-the-blank questions with more than one blank
    • Ordering questions

For technical specifications of this limitation, visit the IMS Global Common Cartridge website.

    I hope this helps!

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best,
