Issues with Google Assignments

I have had some major issues with Google Assignments lately.  Some students try to open up the Google Assignment and it says, "We have trouble opening the document.  Try again by reloading the page."  What's weird about that is my earlier class (linked to the same class) was able to open the document just fine.

The previous day students got an error message saying, "We couldn't load your document because there is a problem with your instructor's account. Please ask your instructor to reconnect their account to Schoology."  From there I went into my Google account and removed Schoology as a third-party app and then reinstalled it, but I guess that didn't solve the problem.

Any ideas?

    So I just tried again with my class.  The first class I had today my Google Assignment worked just fine.  Just now, my second class, linked in the same course, didn't work.  It gave an error message to students saying "We had some trouble opening your document.  Try again by reloading the page."  The part that I don't get is why it worked in one class and not in the other when they are all in the same course page?  Let me know what I should do next.

    Did this issue ever get resolved because I am about to help a teacher troubleshoot similar Google Assignment issues with students? I'd like to have as many troubleshooting tricks available as possible. Thanks! -Nichole

    Thank you, the teacher needed to reconnect to Google Drive through Schoology.

    I will start my search into that link...but when that happened to me, I was trying to grade an assignment created by sharing a copy of a Google doc for students to turn in. I went to grade them and as I select each student, their work will appear for a second, then Schoology will advise me what account I'm signed in as and give me the option to change account or logout. Signing out, and then reconnecting my account worked for awhile, but then it happened a week later. It takes too long for students to be able to use my Google assignments again once I log out, they are cut off for long than the period before they can continue working on my assignments from Google again.

    I have had this issue since Friday mid-morning, when everything crashed.  The assignments were working just fine before that. I've tried everything in the Troubleshooting Google Drive Assignments, I've reconnected my Google drive to my Schoology account successfully - multiple times to see if that was the issue - and that isn't an issue.  I still am getting many, many panicked students saying they can't open assignments and/or submit them....way too many for it to be student user errors.  Do you have any suggestions beyond the basic troubleshooting guide?
