Instructor Q&A

A Real Customer service

I am having trouble verifying my account because (apparently) I live in China and I have a Chinese phone number. I contact support. I get this goofy email about "being a 'basic'" member of the site. I responded I won't be anything if i cannot verify my account. I get the same response. I click on the link for "basic" accounts, and the Customer support button is visible. I seriously doubt the "community" will be able to help verify my account. I need a response from a technical programmer not a uber help guy from the community.

Get a real technical support Schoology. If I had a choice I would be using Google Classroom.

    Hi Craig,

Apologies for this point of frustration.

If you have a number outside of the US or Canada, we request that you email with a link to your profile.

This is documented in this Help Article: I didn't receive a code to verify my account

To help those looking for the answer to the same question, I'm going to go ahead and move this to our Instructor Q&A forum.

You just refuse to get it, don't you?  We need real, hands-on, independent of "on-line" "forums" to learn how to use "Schoology". And an actual Customer Service/Support human being and not some icon to "click"!
