Why the delay in grading auto-graded self-assessments?

Seguir

Do any of you have students taking auto-graded self-assessments who are saying it takes too long for assessments to be scored? Is there a standard time required for an auto-graded assessment to be graded?

    Hi Eunice,

Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

Assessment submissions should be ready for grading within two minutes of students submitting them. If submissions are consistently taking longer than two minutes to process, please let us know and our Support team can investigate further.

Submission take much longer than 2 minutes to score. I'm testing out partial scoring and assigned a ONE question assessment and it took 7 minutes.

Hi! We are experiencing a 5-7 min delay in grading on auto-graded assessments as well. This isn't the case with test/quiz.

    Hi all -

Apologies for any confusion with the score processing times for assessment submissions.

I'd like to clarify the processing timeframe. Schoology generally expects score processing times to be within 2 minutes. However, if you notice score processing times exceeding 10 minutes please contact Schoology Support and we can investigate further.

We understand a real-time score processing time is important in the classroom and we are making improvements to the current processing time.

This problem is still happening and/or happening again. A five question multiple choice quiz should not take over 10 minutes to grade.

Also, I hate moving goal posts - your own support material says it should take 2 SECONDS, not 2 minutes. https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006774247-Guide-to-Schoology-Assessments#:~:text=Scores%20Pending%20%E2%80%93%20Once%20the%20student,to%20be%20within%202%20seconds.

We are having the same issue.  I have a teacher that had to wait till the next day to see results.  Not acceptable.

    Is this being looked into?

We're having the same issue here.  If we click "View Attempts" we are able to see that a student got 27/30, but it isn't auto-populating in the gradebook.

Schoology status has returned to normal, but the grades from the assessment yesterday are still not updated.

I have several teachers reporting this issue.  Grades from last week still have not updated.

I have found that going into the test's settings and clicking save refreshes the updated grades.

However, if I had a question with multiple correct choices, and partial credit selected, it was counting the entire question as wrong.

I had several students get 1/2, but it was awarding them 0/2, even with the correct settings.

The amount of triage I've had to do this past week has been unreal.

Where are you finding the refresh in the test settings?

There's a "save" button at the bottom of the "Settings" tab.

When I clicked that it refreshed my kids' scores.
