Existing account, no "Add Child" option on drop down

Hello.  I have an existing Schoology account and am trying to add my two children using the codes provided by the schools, but don't seem to have that option on the profile drop down.  I see others have had similar problems, but I cannot find the solution.  Also not able to join the groups using the codes provided by teachers.  Can you please help?

    Hello All,

    The Add Child link will not appear unless your parent account already has at least one child associated with it. If you currently do not have a child account associated with your parent account, please contact your school for help resolving this issue.

    If you have any trouble contacting your school, let us know and we will contact them on your behalf!

    I have also had this problem.  I have a work account and had access to my kids accounts last school year and when I logged in now I don't have access and no drop down to add my child.  I would appreciate any help!

    In this case, as an Enterprise Schoology user your school manages your account on your behalf. We recommend that you contact your Schoology Support Contact by clicking the question mark icon at the top right corner of any page in Schoology.

    If you have any trouble contacting someone at your school, please let me know and I will be happy to contact them on your behalf.

    Is there a solution to this issue? I have parents who are unable to find the 'Add Child' link as well.

    Charles -- So you're saying that once a parent's older child graduates from our schools, they'll be unable to add a younger child to their account without going through school administration? That's not ideal for us. Is there a way around having each parent need to contact us?

Please feel free to add your feedback in a comment and upvote that post!

    To resolve the issue you described, there are a few different workarounds for this that you can try based on your organization’s setup. Our Support team should be reaching out shortly with those in the ticket you opened.
