Add a Child

I've been trying to add my second daughter (a twin) to my parent account for a few days now, and every time I put in her access code, it looks like it takes it, but her name never shows up in my list. This is very frustrating.  What needs to be done?

    Hello Sharon,

    Thank you for contacting the Schoology Community. The child's account should be accessible by clicking the top right dropdown and selecting your children accounts. From there, click All Children and drop down individually to each child.

    If this does not work, please let us know and we'd be happy to help.

    I am having the same issue.  I have two children; set one up no problem.  Went to add my second child, it looks like it took the code; then nothing pops up to add that child's name etc. (Both children go to the same school)  Please advise.  Thank you.

    am trying to add my other son, same school, and get this message:

    We've noticed that your child belongs to another school. To complete the process, you must register for a new Schoology parent account within your child's school using the form below.
     
    Not a different school at all!  They both attend the same place.  Please help me add him!

    I have 2 kids both at the same middle school this year. The younger one was at a different school last year and although I added him to new school with my other child and everything was working well for a day, it then deleted my older child info and reverted my younger child to his old elementary school. The school suggested to delete account and set up a new one. I did and I now have access for my younger child but when I try to add my older one, it states he is at another school (which he is not) and it does not let me register him nor add him with his access code. Please help. It is a very frustrating process. It should not be this difficult to add 2 children to same school of which he was already in.

    (It sounds like the exact problem Mary Downs had posted, but solution was not posted for me to try)

    I too am unable to add my twins. I have an account, and can access it and view my 2 older cHilden. But when I try to add my twins, I get the error message that I am using the wrong code (which I am not). Please advise!

    Hi -- I used to be able to access my daughter's account on my PC and phone; however, I can't see it now and there is no longer an "add child" option in the drop down menu by my name on the top right-hand of the screen.

    We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. As you're a member of LAUSD, we recommend that you use LAUSD's personalized support center to help you address technical issues and configure your settings. You can find these services by clicking on "Help Center" in the footer after you've logged into your Schoology account.
