Can you help me with how to add a profile picture for our student?

    Please note that if the option to Edit Picture is not available, it may be due to the School's permission settings. In that case, we recommend clicking the Help Center icon at the top right of Schoology and contacting your Support Contact.

    Hi John,

    Great question! Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to change profile pictures from mobile devices. We are working hard to improve our iOS/Android apps and we know this is a feature that is much needed (especially 1:1 schools).

    I apologize for any inconvenience but hopefully it can be available in the near future. If there are any questions, please let me know.

    My profile picture is showing up sideways on my page. Any idea on how to fix this?  Thank you.

    Hello Anne,

    Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community! 

    It's possible the photo appears sideways because the photo was taken vertically. You will need to rotate the image using a photo viewing or editing software. After the image is rotated, you can upload your picture and it will appear correctly.
