Position of new materials -- top instead of bottom

Seguir

Could you create an option in the course settings to either add new course content to the top or the bottom of the page?

Also, could you do the same for the PowerSchool App -- could new assignments go in the beginning while older assignments are moved onto additional pages, instead of the opposite, which is how it is now?

This is a big need at our school. Many teachers are looking for the option to change the position of new materials to the top.

This is so simple yet why hasn't it been done yet?

Please, as an option for users.  I prefer new at the top, since middle school students are not the best at looking at the whole list.

This is a pretty workable solution:

To add a material item inline somewhere else on the page, hover your mouse over one of the gray lines between folders or items on the page.

When you hover over the line, a green + sign will appear. Click on the dotted green line and select a material type from the dropdown menu to add an item to a specific spot on the page.

How do I add materials at the top of the page rather than the bottom?

Gladly! It's been around for a while. Blew my away I didn't know it, that it wasn't common knowledge. I would have thought it would have come up as a suggestion in Schoology Help; it seems like their AI is usually pretty decent for problem solving.
