Private Poll Results (for actual voting use)

Seguir

An excellent addition to the current Polling feature within Schoology would be to add an option to hide the results from respondents. This would allow people to use the Polling feature for things like student council elections, where seeing the results of other respondents will influence the voter. Currently results are shown to everyone in real time, which simply won't work for situations where we want to gather unbiased responses.

I agree with this. I would also like the ability to link images with poll options and most importantly to be able to sticky a poll at the top of a group or course so that it doesn't get buried after a few days. Thanks

Our school is also very interested in this feature.

I absolutely agree. One vote per student, plus teacher viewing of detailed voting results is also a MUST HAVE feature.
Right now I don't know if kids are stuffing the ballot box, and I certainly want to know which students did NOT participate. (I use it to give awards for a final presentation of a film project.)

I agree- one vote per student and results stay hidden until teacher decides to make public (if ever).

I agree with the masses. I planned on using the polling feature from everything from formative assessment to data gathering. I am sad to see that I cannot see analytical results of the student responses.

I was hoping to use the polling feature for our student council election as well. Currently this is not viable as students should not see the results, too stressful and needs to be private, to allow dignity for all candidates.

I also wish teachers could see the names of the students that have voted so they can more easily see who is not participating.

Hiding results from respondents would be helpful.  I currently embed a google form which is a little "clunky".

I also want to be able to hide the results and see who has responded.  This topic is pretty old so I wanted whoever reads these to notice it again as this would be really helpful.
