Bulk-edit or bulk-copy feature in a folder

Seguir

It would be nice if within a file folder (in a course), I could place a checkmark next to multiple materials and then select a function (i.e. copy to course). For example, I am in a file folder for one class, but I only want to copy 4 or 5 items from that folder to other courses. Right now, I have to copy to course for each item...

I would love to be able to check multiple files at the same time and move them all at once, instead of having to click files one by one in order to reorganize a folder or put files that go together into a folder together, and THEN do the SAME thing in the other section of the course. It is time consuming and wasteful to have to move files individually, when it would be simple to add a feature where you can select more than one file at the same time, just as you can in file explorer on windows or mac.

Yes, yes! This would facilitate moving multiple materials between folders as well. Another option would be to list the Folder in the Bulk Edit section to aid in reorganizing a number of materials at once.

This! I often need to copy several items from one course to another and it gets tedious to copy them one item at a time.

I agree. Something that allows you to bulk move and delete. It takes me a while to move materials from folder to folder if I need to make a change.

DOES SUPPORT REALLY TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ALL THESE REMARKS!? First one was made in 2013!! And since then, mcuh people have been requesting this same issue. We are now in 2017. Are you going to allow bulk actions for course's materials?

    Hello!

Thank you for providing your feedback and enthusiasm for this Feature Idea. Our Team does review all submissions, however, it’s not possible, due to the high volume of requests, to personally respond to every posted request. Also, even seemingly simple product ideas may be more complex than you might expect or may wait in line as part of a larger development schedule.

We thank you for your continued patience and we look forward to implementing new features based on your feedback.

Four years later and once again all of my teachers want to move Semester 1 materials into a Semester 1 folder. They still have to move each object individually! Most programs have check- and check-all boxes to manipulate multiple objects at once. Why can't Schoology implement this?
