Will the iPad app include the annotation tools available on the web interface? It would be amazing if we could use a stylus to draw on the iPad app, and have it record as it does on the web version.

Everyone,
We're excited to announce the release of the Mobile Annotations feature that you've all been eagerly awaiting! You can now download v3.3 of the iOS app to get access to mobile annotations, streamlined grading panels, and more!
Learn all the details on the Schoology Blog (https://www.schoology.com/group/25228991/blog/post/176694851).
If you have questions or need help using the feature, please check the help documentation first (https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/articles/203713043-Grading-Student-Assignments-on-the-iPad-iOS-for-Instructors-).
Please contact our support team at https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/requests/new for assistance.
Thanks,

This would make grading in Schoology so much less cumbersome! Please use the arrow up next to the original post from Julie Yoon to get this more votes. The rep told me this morning that they take this into consideration when prioritizing new features. Thanks!
So... We are an iPad school and I am beginning to wonder what does Schoology consider to be the "end of summer".... Just saying we are coming up on labor day and no update yet....
Have a web interface to write on the iPad app, or a way to upload PDFs annotated in another app like Notability into Schoology. Can do that now, but there is no clear way for students to see the attachment. All that is visible is the grade and the in-Schoology comment.
While we appreciate how easily the Schoology app and Notability interface with each other, students don't always see the .pdf attachment when the teacher sends it back, and often the Schoology app crashes when a teacher tries to add a grade after attaching a .pdf. This process should be much more streamlined. It would be great to annotate with a stylus directly in Schoology.
I'd like to request an additional feature--I love being able to open papers in Notability, write on them, and submit them back. But it takes a lot of time to open each individual paper into Notability because you have to click several times to get to each paper, then save it into Notability with several more clicks, before you can work with it. It would be a huge time-saver (and therefore a great incentive to teachers in my building) if we could download all of the papers for a specific assignment into Notability at the same time with only one or two clicks total. The web version of schoology offers the option of downloading all documents at once, but that doesn't help on an iPad. Thanks!
I would also like for students to view the annotations in the Schoology app.

This is SO important! The annotating tool is ok on the web interface but would be even better using an iPad where we can use a stylus and truly annotate.
This is very important for us as we are an iPad school. Part of the reason we chose Schoology is that it was supposed to work so well on iPads.
2nd this request..
Yes. I download to iannotate just because it has a good audio comment feature, but it would be awesome to remove that step or to somehow integrate the app within schoology.
This is a mission-critical feature and one which we are looking for in a district-adopted LMS as we move 1:1 iPads.
The iPad app needs the ability for the teacher to open the assignment, annotate on the assignment and send it back to the student without using another app. Our staff all agree this is the number one priority enhancement needed to make Schoology easier for the teachers to use.
Would be a great plus for teachers at our school. Hope it happens soon!
FYI!!!
As this has been a requested feature for quite sometime and there has been no indication that schoology is working on this feature, I have recently looked into the Canvas Learning Management system and their LMS is 100% compatible with the iPad. They have a tool to assess annotate students work.
The last thing I want to do is change our staff to a different LMS, but that is our plan if this feature isn't ready to go by July.
Is there any intent by Schoology to make their system 100% compatible with iOS devices? Especially the ability to annotate assignments.
It does seem slow in coming. I don't think the feature is available in Canvas as we speak--though it might be now. I use iannotate to grade essays. Whichever lms nails this feature as an integrated part of their system will certainly get a leg up on the competition.
I have observed it being used in Canvas...it works
I agree.
It would make my ability to give feedback greater if I could type on the paper in the Schoology viewer.
I would love this very much. This feature MUST be added
Any idea when this feature is coming? We use PDF expert and it involves open each link. Not as I easy as it could be.
PLEASE...It is so needed as a math teacher!
With PARCC assessment around the corner this feature for students to practice to annotate would be a huge benefit.
Needs to happen soon, my teacher users are not using the grading feature because we are 1:1 iPads. Not the best fit.
Are there any updates on this feature, we are contemplating purchasing the enterprise version of Schoology, however as we compare other LMS options, this is a must for a paid service. Our teachers and students need to be able to annotate and see annotations on assignments using iPads? an indication if this is on the horizon is needed as schools are looking at budgets for next year.
To comment with audio simply dictate your comment orally, using the mic on the keyboard. Works well for me and saves me time typing!
This feature needs to be there for August please!
Just wanted to check if this update for iOS is still projected to be released at the end of this summer?
Is there an update on this Vickram?
