Grading on Schoology snafus

When I try to save any annotations I have made to a student's work I get a spinning wheel and it tells me oops, there was a problem. I can save one student's work before this sets in, but no subsequent corrections to further students. This started recently. Before this I found working on my iPad to correct work through Schoology to be the best, because I could use my stylus and it was fast and efficient. Now I have to try to go back to Schoology on my desktop and it takes 2 to 3 times longer. Restarting and reinstalling app doesn't help.

    I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. 

    We’ve reported this issue to our Engineering team with a priority of Moderate Impact. This means that we understand annotating assignments on the Schoology app is not working fully as intended, we will continue to work on this issue until there is a resolution. 

    We encourage you to use the workaround of annotating the assignments using a web browser.

    Once a fix is released, you’ll receive an update from us via this thread when the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience.

    Was there a solution to this?  I have been grading on my iPad all year. Then all of a sudden the grade box has disappeared and I have to log in  to the desktop to add in a grade... help :(

    Now annotations are gone from the desktop website also.  At least they are gone intermittently.

    I'd be happy to look further into this for you. Can you please clarify if this issue is happening for the students while opening the teacher's annotations or is it happening while the teachers are opening the student's annotations?

    Also, is this issue device or browser specific? Have you tried clearing your browsing data (cache and cookies) and tried replicating it again?
