Student Completion Rules


I have been a Basic user for about 7 years or so. I have a current class that has completion rules set up in it, since the course has been copied since completion was removed from the Basic options.

After the third party site deleted all of my quiz item banks, I had to upload brand new item banks for new progress quizzes. I find out that Student Completion is no longer a feature that I have available to me, but the problem is that it already exists in my class. I need the ability to make adjustments or I request that one of your technicians go in and remove the rules for me.

I can run a class without completion rules. But I can't run a class that has completion rules in place without access to the rules to adjust when I have to add or adjust items within the course.

    Hi Megan,

    Thank you for posting in the Schoology Community!

    Currently, the ability to adjust previously set up Student Completion Rules is not a supported feature for Basic users. Student Completion Rules are now only available in Schoology's Enterprise option.

    Basic users should at least have the ability to delete completion rules. I understand not changing/adding new ones. But we should have the option to remove them, since this is now effecting what my students can access when I have to go in and edit and add things (such as new versions of quizzes since the website that Schoology used to host my original quizzes deleted them).


    At this point, I am going to be looking for a different LMS to use for my course, and I will be steering my district in a different direction. I have dealt with so many issues already this year, and hearing that I cannot even REMOVE completion rules is a bit ridiculous.
