Assessments that are past due date - not in 'Overdue' feed

Follow

During my staff training on Schoology yesterday, it was brought up by several teachers that even assigning a due date to an 'Assessment,' an assessment that has not been submitted on time does not show up in the 'Overdue' feed for students.  Is this a fluke in the system?  This is pertinent for our students - especially since we have recently gone fully remote for the next several weeks.

Thanks!

    Hi Jill,

Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

We’ve reported this issue to our Engineering team with a priority of Moderate Impact. This means that we understand the Overdue section is not working fully as intended, but prioritization of this issue is weighted against more urgent issues and other features we are developing. We encourage you to use the workaround of having the user look at their calendar within to see past materials for the course.

Please let us know if there is new information about this issue that might change the priority. If we missed something from you or hear back from other Schoology customers about this issue, and the priority changes, we’ll let you know.

Otherwise, you’ll receive an update from us via this thread when the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience.

     Best,

Are there any updates on a fix for this issue yet?

    Thanks!

Having everything in one place almost like a "to-do" list would be extremely helpful to our elementary students who are 100% virtual learning. Having them go into the calendar and sort through what they have or have not completed yet is too overwhelming for our students.

I am an elementary teacher that teaches a 100% virtual class.  I love the overdue work feature, but I use Schoology created "assessments" frequently for quick check ins and quiz/tests.  I love the assessments, but they don't show up on the overdue work list.  It would be so much easier for students to know ALL of their overdue work if assignments and "assessments" would show up on the overdue work list.  Please consider making this change.
