Schoology Conferences Cameras Not Working

Our school has gone all virtual and our students and staff are experiencing an issue with the Camera when they are in a conference.

Before and during a conference the Camera will either not work or stop working.  As of right now the only way it gets corrected is to completely log out of the conference and Schoology and log back in.  This is very inefficient and disruptive to teaching and learning.  Is this a known issue?  It is happening across operating systems (Mac, PC, and Chromebooks).

Any help in finding a solution is appreciated!

    I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. 

    I was not able to replicate this behavior in my test account by selecting a Conference, then clicking on the web cam.  I was able to successfully load the camera.  

    In this case, is there a certain time frame when the camera stops working.( i,e. after 5, 10 minutes, etc)?

    If so, do you get an error message or a blank screen?

    It will be helpful if you provide the steps that leads to the error. This way we can determine if we need to submit a ticket to the Schoology Help Desk for further investigation.
