Same. So frustrating. For 3 days I have tried countless times and it won't work. I can choose the file, but when I click "Import Link," it just spins and spins. I've logged off of both Schoology and Google Drive countless times, cleared my cache, shut down and rebooted my computer, unsynced and resynced my Schoology and Google Drive. Nothing works.
I am having the same issue and it started today for me.
I am getting calls to the help desk about this as well. Just tested it and at first, my google apps wouldn't even load - just the 3 dots for 6 minutes. After closing out and trying again, now the drive shows and I can search and select from drive, but whether I chose "link" or "import", it won't work. Just the 3 dots until it times out.
Has anybody figured out if this is a browser, Google or or Schoology issue?
I'm using Chrome and Enterprise GSuite.
When I was on the phone with our tech support, they told me they knew it was a known issue and they did not have a timeline for it to be repaired. Kinda sucks when all of the work I have for students is on Google Drive. I have been having this issue for about a week.
I have several teacher who when they try to embed a file from Google Resources or YouTube, the window simply opens up to a new version of their schoology page, inside their original page. Some have been able to get around the problem by logging off and trying other browsers, but then the problem reoccurs, seemingly at random.
Same, I've had teachers emailing me all week about this. I even configured the new Google Drive app for them but it's also showing an error when they try to use it.

Still happening! Super frustrating.
Still happening to my teachers at certain times of day, usually mid day. Internet speeds on our end are not the issue. Teacher I tested today had 100MB up and down.
