Searching in the Systems Logs analytics gets cleared out before I can finish typing a name


When I am trying to search (This is happening to all of our IT staff at home and on campus from different devices and browsers) in the Systems Logs analytics for a user's name, it very often clears out everything I have just typed before I have finished typing it. This has been frustrating for all of our staff, as it makes trying to help troubleshoot issues with Schoology for students, parents and teachers very difficult if we can't even search for them. Often I will have typed just a few characters in a name and it clears it before I finish. Sometimes after trying over and over, we must be crashing it and get the Schoology is Unavailable page.

Does anyone have a fix or workaround for this? To me, it almost seems like the automatic search prediction suggestions feature might try to load up so fast behind the curtains that it clears out the characters or something before I can even see it, canceling itself out and not letting me search. Just a theory but it could be anything. Thanks!

    Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

    I was not able to replicate this behavior in my test account by following this workflow > Tools> Usage Analytics> System Logs> Search for a user's name.  The user populated and I was able to view her information in the System Logs.  Does this issue continue to persist on your end? If so, please let me know and I can submit a ticket on your behalf to the Schoology Help Desk for further investigation.
