exception marks


In the Schoology gradebook, I have an assignment that is a participation grade. The assignment was checked on a different website and I filled in the grades manually in Schoology. Students did not have to submit anything through Schoology to get this grade, so I have no student results. This morning I "marked the empty cells 'Missing.'" Now I cannot over-ride the "Missing" zero with a new grade.

    Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

    You should be able to clear the "Missing" exception by clicking on it and removing it from the gradebook.  Here's a Help Guide with more information on this process.  Please let me know if you have any more questions.
