What happens when a student exceeds the allotted testing time in a Schoology Assessment? Does the assessment close out? Are students able to pause and continue later? Had a student take 65 minutes to complete a timed 45-minute test and I'm not sure how that happened. What is supposed to happen?

Students who have not finished before the time limit is expired have their assessments automatically submitted with the answers they have completed.
Assessments are resumable by default. If the assessment is timed, the timer will pause if the student navigates away from the page. However, it will not pause if the page is open and the screen is idle.

For the timed features in quizzes and assessments, if the student refreshes the page, the timer refreshes too. It would be great if the timer would not refresh. Students are cheating by refreshing their pages.
