Student Schoology issue


We are using the Schoology basic program.  I have a student who created an account yesterday.  He is now logged in and whenever he tries to open his settings by clicking his username in the upper right hand corner, the blue bar at the top goes blank and he cannot click on anything.  It does not come back until he refreshes the page.  He is using Safari on an iPad.  We tried logging into his account on my computer using Chrome, and it did the same thing.  Now I am actually not able to log OUT of his account on my Chrome because the menu bar disappears.

    Can you confirm if the student is using the most updated version of the Schoology iOS app?
