Assessment Grade Missing

Follow

Hi, I took my finals exam using Schoology last 03 June 2020. I was able to submit my answers and view my score. However, when my school officials retrieved the test results, my score was not reflected thereon. Can you help me on this as my graduation is at stake because of my missing grade. I also cannot view my grade on the platform thereafter.

I urgently need your help as the grades are due for submission in the next two days.

    Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue.

In this case, you would need to reach out to your Course Administrator to request your missing grades.

To contact your Course Administrator in Schoology, please follow these steps:

    - Enter the course

    - Click on Members

    - Locate your instructor in the member list

    - Click the gear icon to the right of your instructor's name

    - Select  'Send Message'

     I hope this helps!

    Hi Nina,

Thanks much for the quick reply. It is actually my instructor who told me that I do not any grade reflected on schoology. Although I was able to successfully submit my answers and confirmed my score. Is there no way you check on this? Desperately need your help on this.

By the way, the date I took the exam was on 03 July 2020.

    Hi there!

Thank you for your prompt response!

It appears your instructor has unpublished assignments in the Course Gradebook.

Since students are not able to see or access unpublished assignments, you would have to reach out to your instructor and request for him/her to publish the assignment(s).

Please reach out to your instructor again for further assistance.

If you have any more questions, please let us know!

    Best,

Apart from a dry run exam (practice test and ungraded), the final exam that I took is the only assignment that we had in Schoology. Is the “unpublish” scenario still possible in this case? Are their any possibilities which I can raise and hopefully recover my grade? Is my grade just in the platform and would just need some tweaking in the setting? This only happened to me and none to any of my classmates. I am just desperate because this could make or break my last year in law school.

    Hello Aileen,

Yes, it is possible that the exam is "unpublished". Unfortunately, Schoology does not have permission to publish or unpublish grades on the instructor's behalf.  After reviewing this course on our end, the instructor has certain assignments unpublished. Therefore, you would have to reach out to the instructor directly and request they unpublish the desired assignments for you to view/access your grades.

If your instructor has issues with publishing grades, you can have him/her reach out to your district's designated Support Contact for further assistance.

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks again for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

Thanks Nina! I will make the necessary coordination then. Another thing is that if you cannot publish or unpublish the grade, can you on your end confirm that I took the test on 03 July 2020, 730PM, GMT+8. My apologies if this has become long but I just want to equipped with anything possible when I talk with them.

    Hello Aileen,

Thank you for your response. I understand how important accessing your grades are and I apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused. Since course instructors can make changes to assignments and coursework, its best to reach out to the instructor for specific questions about when assignments were submitted and completed.

Again, if your instructor experiences difficulty with accessing your grades and submissions, please have him or her reach out to your school's Support Contact for further assistance.

    Thank you for your understanding!
