assignment upload stuck

Follow

My daughter has a brand new Lenovo corei5 laptop literally bought weeks before this pandemic. She cannot upload an assignment doc in ANY browser on this machine. She has to email it to our home computer, and sign into schoology from there and upload works fine. This points to an issue with the Lenovo but what? What settings could inhibit an upload into schoology?

We too are having the exact same issue with my daughters Lenovo Yoga (1 year old) - whereby she cannot upload any assignments regardless of file type size or browser used. Yet my other daughter's Lenovo Ideapad 3 that is brand new works just fine.

This is becoming quite stressful, please help. We have followed all of the steps you mention - speedtest, whitelist, firewall settings etc.

Thanks, I will follow this thread.

I have a student with a new Surface Pro 7 who was able to submit assignments on Schoology the first week of school. Whether she was at school, or at home, she could submit it.

On Tuesday, Sept 15th, the file upload for her assignments were stuck on Uploading. We tried another laptop(HP 14 Stream), and she was able to submit her assignments on that. Now this morning, or last night, the files are stuck on uploading again. She is now using her cell phone to upload her assignments. These are devices used across the district and no other student is having this issue.

I tried reaching out to support, and my ticket was autoclosed.

My daughter is having the same issue with her new computer we bought three weeks ago.  She can upload it fine on my old one, but the new one gets stuck in uploading mode.   There is NO support at school and apparently no support on this page.   Her computer meets the requirements.  Is there any way to speak with someone about this issue?

I solved this particular issue. Out of my hundreds of students I used to always have 3 or 4 who say: "I can't upload, it's stuck". In almost every case it is caused by the PC time not being synchronized. So they have their time zone incorrectly set in windows, or set the time to manual.
So go to date time in windows and check the time zone, the time server (can be either internet or a school/company server) and if it's set to automatically adjust. Also check your region setting in windows, which can influence the date/time and also Daylight Savings.
