can't log out of schoology

When in my son's account as a student (not this account), I am unable to log out. It says there is an error. Apparently, something is running in the background which is unable to be closed, which is stalling the logout. Can you please help.

    This sounds like something our Support team might need to look into further.

    I'm having the same issue. When I go to logout my son, and it shows that he is successfully logged out and when I try to login my daughter it pulls up my son's profile again, as if it never logged out. I've tried again and again and even used different web browsers, and still cannot login to my daughter's account.

    I fixed my problem by going into the internet browser and deleting the cookies.... Then I was able to log out of everything and log back in with a different username.

    We experience this issue a lot with students and staff. We always have to delete cookies/clear cache to log out. This is inconvenient when you are remotely working and you have students that have to share a device to complete their assignments.
