How do you use the same answer more than once in matching? I have 4 question items but only 2 possible answers. The quiz is marking students' answers incorrect even though they should be marked as correct.

Here is how the question is set up:

    Hi Kelly,

Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

This behavior is occurring because Schoology recognizes the Correct Answer Setup as unique pairings. That is, the answer options, although textually identical, are recognized as independent entities and cannot be used interchangeably. The specific instance of "Federalist" would need to be paired with its specific prompt.

Instead, you should use the Duplicate Responses function in the Correct Answer Setup to allow students to associate a single Possible Answer to multiple Prompts. Then, you can simply have two Possible Answers for students to choose from and use as many times as they want.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions. You can also read more about the Correct Answer Setup for this particular question type in this Help Center article.
