Delete account

I need to delete my account, and I can't leave my current courses which have already ended, keeping me from doing so. Contacting the course administrators is not an option for me. Please delete my account as soon as possible.

    Hi Erik, 

    We are unable to delete accounts under most circumstances. If you would like to stop receiving notifications, you can do so from your personal account settings. If there is another reason why you need to delete your account, please let us know.

    I have not been a student that has used this service for about 3 years. The course in itself has not been active for over 3 years, and the teacher no longer works for my old school so her email has likely changed. I can not open a support ticket because I am under the basic account. I want this account deleted and removed from my email for online security reasons. I have become extremely frustrated with the current set up as I believe it is my right to delete an account under my name or at least contact a support member.

    I can not. She no longer works at the school I attended, and so she will not have the same email. Is there any other way?

    Hi Skyler, 

    We are unable to delete accounts on behalf of users. 

    You should try to reach out to your course administrator via Schoology message if you are unable to reach her by email. 

    If you don't receive a response, we can submit a ticket on your behalf regarding this issue with our Support team.

    My reasons for deleting my account and the information linked to it are security related. Please help me delete my account, or refer me to someone that can do so.
