I can no longer assign from Google Drive


I utilize Google Drive for assignments all the time. It has worked wonderfully to connect items via Schoology in the past for things like vocabulary, creative writing, etc. This year I am not able to create the assignments. Why is this no longer an option and if it is an option, where do I find the directions? Thanks for the help!

    Hi Jason, 

    Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community! 

    It sounds like you might have to (re-)install the Google Drive Assignments App. 

    You can do so from the App Center, which is the four squares icon in the header navigation in Schoology.

    From there: 

    1. Click App Center
    2. Click Google Drive Assignments App
    3. Click Install LTI App. 
    4. Click Agree
    5. Click Install

    If you encounter any issues following this workflow, please reach out to your System Administrator. Depending on the permissions settings in place at your organization, you might not have the permission to install apps. Your System Administrator will be able to give you more context regarding this issue. You can find them by clicking Support in the footer navigation bar in Schoology. 

    I see that you have a ticket open with our Support Team regarding this issue. I'm going to go ahead and mark that ticket as solved so that we can avoid any redundancies.
