Hi.  I am new to Schoology. I am an instructor and is currently creating a course for my students. Is there a way to provide them with a certificate after completing the course which has their name on it?

    Hi Shahira,

Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

Currently, Schoology does not have a function that generates completion certificates. As such, I'm going to go ahead and move this into the Feature Ideas forum where other users can show their support for this feature by upvoting and commenting.

In the meantime, you might be interested in utilizing our Badges feature, which allows you to award students a "badge" that will appear on their profile.

    Hi Shahira,

I recommend using the Adobe Captivate package. You can buy the license and once you have it, you can insert it into a course in Schoology and it will take the users´ information to generate the certificates. In addition to this, you can use the completion rules so once the students reach the last materials, by the end of the course, they can reach their certificates.

    Good luck!

Hi Paula, I'm interested in getting Adobe Captivate to create some online course content in Schoology.  Will you tell me more about how you are using it and some of the features like the one you mentioned above?

    Hi Julie,

Articulate courses are typically imported to Schoology as a SCORM package which is only supported on Enterprise. For the Basic platform, you might wish to look at other options such as uploading the course to a cloud storage platform and linking to that in Schoology using the Add Link feature. Or if you can export the course as a ZIP file, you could import it as a web content package.

    I hope this helps!
