Completed Feature Ideas

Scrolling submissions

All right, Schoology, PLEASE hear me on this one. Could we view student submissions on assignments by scrolling through all of them at once rather than loading each one individually? (on computer AND on iPad) You've done this with the old assessments when grading by question. It would make grading 500x faster and would allow me to formatively assess my students far more often. I just spoke to my colleague about it, and her eyes widened at the idea. I know everyone who grades work on your platform would benefit, and more people would start using it for grading.

Please. Pretty, pretty PLEASE.

    Hi all,

I’m pleased to announce that Grade by Question is now available for Course Assessments and Managed Assessments (AMP)! Instructors can view all student responses to a single question in one place and view the average score on each question across the course. You can find out more information here: Grade by Question.

This post will now be moved to Completed Feature Ideas.  Thank you for your understanding and excitement while we worked to add this feature to Schoology!

For other updates to Assessments, you can follow our Product Roadmap. In order to follow the progress of items on our roadmap, click Follow on each section of the roadmap:

I agree! High school teachers can have more than 120 assignments to grade at a time - less clicking around would eliminate steps in that process.

It is not possible to grade question by question when students have uploaded pdfs.  So ... is there a solution to the original question that was asked???
