Partial Group Email


I would like to send a group message to some of the parents-not all of the parents associated with the course.  Is this a function?

    Hi Anne,

    One option for messaging parents is to head to the Members area of your course. Each student in the Members area should also list their associated parent(s). To send a message, follow these steps:

    1. 1. Click the gear icon to the right of the appropriate student and select Message Parents.
    2. 2. You can add additional parent names in the To: field.
    3. 3. Complete the Subject and Message fields of your message.
    4. 4. Click Send.

    1.  It is not a smooth process to type in the parent's name as they are not necessarily connected to the student's name.  If I type in the student's name, I am not given the option to click on the parent's contact information. Not user-friendly.

    2. If a person were to get all the parent information in the To: field, is there a way to bcc the parties involved in order to maintain data privacy?
