Comments in Rubrics w/ Zero Values

Follow

One of the items I do in my classroom is ungraded check-ins. This allows students to feedback on long-running projects without making extra or unnecessary grades for me and inflating their grades. I have been using the rubric function on Schoology to do some of this work and have found that it is very hard to set a rubric is have zero points value (but possible), but that students can then not view the "bubble" comments in the individual categories of the rubric itself. Is there a work-around with this? Is this something that just is impossible? Any advice would be helpful.
