Students can't join the groups I set up for them because their accounts are associated with a different school. What to do?


Students who initially created their Schoology accounts with a different school cannot join the groups I set up for them at our current school. How do they or I fix this problem?

    Hi Jacqueline,

    If a student is a member of an Enterprise school and that school does not permit students to join groups outside of their organization, students are not allowed to join and will receive this error when attempting to join your group.

    If these students are associated with other Basic Schools and they receive this message, please let us know so that we can investigate the issue in more detail.
