Course Templates Clarification

Follow

I am curious...  I have been collecting information on designing a template for a department and copying them into each classroom  before faculty have access to them.  I cannot seem to locate the specific directions on this.  I have designed them in other LMS's but could use more guidance on this one.

    Hi Michelle,

    Thanks for your question!

I recommend using the same process that teachers use when saving their course content at the end of the year and copying that content to a new course the next year: https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/articles/205627937-How-do-I-end-a-school-year-on-Schoology-Instructors-#saving

You can begin by creating all of your content and materials within a course, then using the process linked above to save said content as templates in Resources. Once the templates are in Resources, you can copy the content to multiple courses, or share the content with others so that they can copy it themselves.

Best of luck! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
