Messaging Feature

Until recently our teachers could click on a Schoology message in their Outlook inbox, and respond directly to the student by simply clicking "reply" while within Outlook. 

After doing so, Schoology would notify teachers that the reply was sent, showing the text of the message, which was proof that the reply worked as featured.  

Just recently (within the past 2 weeks) - Schoology no longer sends notifications of replies sent through Outlook.  

Any idea why this feature has stopped working?  Several teachers have reported this issue.  Is it site based or a feature change in Schoology?  Teachers are still receiving copies of the original message in Schoology and Outlook.

    I am happy to report that this issue has been resolve in Schoology! Schoology message replies via email should now function as expected.

    Thank you for posting your question!

    This is an issue that we are currently tracking in Schoology that has been reported by other users.

    I have created a ticket so that we can track the issue and update you directly, once we have more information.

    I'll set this post to 'Planned' and we will update regarding the issue to this post as well.
