I am bringing this comment to the forum from a professor/email with firsthand experience:
It seems like the Schoology company needs to get some serious feedback from its clients about the inadequacies of their program. For migrating a course, it ought to be like making a transfer on a bank site. You click “transfer funds” and a dropdown menu says “from which account;” you click the proper account and it drops down a menu “to which account?” Then you click “make transfer” and it is done. Schoology can do a similar thing.:
