Show quiz score on view attempt

Follow

I'd really like to SEE the score on the attempt that I'm viewing on the page that I'm viewing.  Currently, the scores are listed on the page listing the attempts.  When you click "View Attempt", no where on that page is the score displayed.  The only way to know the score is to count up/add the points from each question (which is not feasible for longer quizzes) or click a bunch of times to get to a page where I can see the score.

    Hello Mrs. Gastler,

Thank you for sharing your idea in the Community.

To clarify, are you referring to Test/Quizzes in Schoology or Assessments?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I am using the test/quiz feature.  I haven't started using assessments yet, but will feel the same way if this is the case there too.

    Hi Mrs. Gastler,

Thank you for clarifying which type of material you are referring to. I want to make sure I understand your feedback so thank you for the additional detail.

Are you referring to individual question scores or the score for the entire Test/Quiz?

When you initially click on the Results tab, you should see scores listed by student immediately, as seen in this screenshot: (Unless there are subjective questions. If so, you will need to provide a score for the subjective question(s) before Schoology will score the Test/Quiz.)

When you click View Attempts and you are viewing by student, you should see the score listed in two places, as seen in the this screenshot:

To see individual question scores, you would click the gear and select View/Edit, as seen below:

If you are viewing by question, from the Results tab, toggle to View by Question then, click View Responses to see question level scores:

I want to make sure we are delivering your feedback accurately, thank you for taking the time to provide clarity to your idea!

On your third picture, I want to see the overall score on the test/quiz.  When I click "save changes" at the bottom after grading hand-graded questions, it refreshes the page but no where on this page does it show the overall score (and scaled score if its set to have a different number of points than the questions would imply).  To get to the score, I have go to a different page (one of the first two pictures you showed).  I can't use the first picture because I can't allow other students' scores to be viewed by other students. There is not a direct link to the second picture you showed from the third picture you showed (Does that make sense?), which would help, but still not be as useful as just displaying the score somewhere on the third picture.  Frequently, I have a student sitting next to me while I grade hand-graded questions on a quiz and I would like to just click "Save Changes" and immediately see the score.

Here is a combination of your images that should give you a better idea of what I want.

To clarify further, the score in the green box should be the score for the current submission.  It would be even more awesome if there were a second score that was the highest/average/last score in the case of multiple attempts.

Thanks for all of your wonderful feedback and for providing a clear vision for your suggested features, Mrs. Gastler!

This feedback will be considered for Assessments in Schoology moving forward.

    Thanks again!
