Messaging

I tried sending a message to my teacher and it said that she wasn't a valid user. I've tried time and time again to message her, or anyone, but it says they aren't valid users. But I read the post saying to check if the school has messaging, and they do.

    Hello Mercedes,

    I am sorry you are having trouble messaging your teachers. What steps are you taking to message them?

    Can you try these steps and let me know if they work for you?

    - Enter one of your courses
    - Click Members
    - Locate your instructor in the member list
    - Click the gear to the right of your instructor's name
    - Select Send Message

    If you are still not able to contact your instructor or school, please let me know and I will reach out to them on your behalf.

    I have the same problem, but no "Members" tab under my course?

    Hi Michelle,

    If you don't see Members in your course, we recommend either clicking the Support link at the bottom of any page in Schoology and using the Support Contacts listed on the pop-up or, send a direct email to your teacher or school for help with this issue.
