Rearrange order of groups

Follow

With the new interface, the drop-down only shows 12 groups at a time.  Which 12 are showing is based on the order our users had when we turned on the new interface.  I already have users contacting me saying they joined a new group and can't find it.  Our users need to be able to rearrange the order of groups so they can decide which 12 appear in the drop-down.

Yes! We need to be able to rearrange groups in the same way we rearrange courses.

We use Groups not only for student groups but for all of .our MS and HS athletics, On the old interface, students could rearrange so the current sports were at the top. They can no longer do that.  Please enable this feature like you have for Courses!

Yes, yes, yes. The dropdowns need a lot more functionality that we used to have.

I understand how the tiles might be better for non- or early readers, especially on mobile devices, but for higher ed, the simple list was fine. Is there a way for our system admin to change the default to the list instead of the tiles?

Or just go back to the simple drop down list you had before... I'm not sure what inspired this new look but its a downgrade plain and simple.  It gets in the way of getting to courses quickly and serves no purpose whatsoever.  Please revert back to the previous simple and effective dropdown.
