Quiz password.

I would really like to see a password added to the quiz/test function. That would allow meaningful use of Proctor U to satisfy MSCHE, ABHE, and government requirements to insure that the student taking the course is in fact the student taking the test.

    Hi, all -

Thank you for your continued patience and helpful feedback on password protection for tests. I'm pleased to announce that we've released the ability to require a password for assessments. For Enterprise instructors who are using assessments in courses or AMP, you can use this feature now!

Basic users, stay tuned for more information on Assessments and when they will be available to you. We've been working hard on new features to make our Assessments the best solution for testing in Schoology. Check out our June Release Notes for more info!

If there's something you're waiting to see before you move to Assessments, you can follow our Product Roadmap to see changes coming down the pipeline. As always, you can post in our Community forums with any specific questions or ideas.

    Best,

I agree. I think this feature would also allow for quizzes to be assigned and published prior to a class time but students only gain access with the password given in class.

I also agree. Moodle allows you to use passwords and restrict access to subnets on the LAN or Internet. It would be great to have this feature here in Schoology too.

I am trying Personalized Learning in my class next year with a culmination of Blendspaces, and other cool online features. For most of the activities, I plan on using a Media Album for them to store screenshots of their work, however, some of the Stems (I'm ELA) work, and reading comprehension, they should be taking quizzes to assess their learning. To avoid cheating and encourage time taking, I would like the quizzes password protected so that only after conferencing with me, students are given the code to take the quiz.
