Change Profile Name

I am unable to edit my name in the profile section.  I accidentally put my daughter's name rather than my own and am now unable to edit those fields.  Please help.

    I did the same thing. Put my son's name instead of mine!

    Great, now you all know my son's name. What happen to privacy? Schoology should fix the privacy issue asap.

    Hello All,

    If you've accidentally entered your child's name instead of your own when creating your Parent account, you can change the name of the account via these steps:

    - Log into your account

    - Click the downward-facing arrow at the top right of Schoology

    - Choose: Account Settings

    - This area will allow you to make changes to the name associated with your account.

    - Click Save Changes for your edits to take affect

    Charles Black, nothing has changed, you cannot change the main account holder's name.

    Hello Lucas,

    I am sorry that you continue to be unable to change your profile name, I understand how this can be frustrating for you. In this case, your child's school created and is managing your account for you. Please contact the student's teacher or school for further assistance, as they will be able to provide the best solution for your situation. If you are unable to connect with someone at your child's school, please let me know.
