Removal and Addition of "Schools"

During an educator's professional life, they may switch schools multiple times or not at all. Recently, I made the mistake of "adding" a school to my private account. Now, I am unable to remove the school and go back to having an unaffiliated account without transferring emails, starting a new account, merging accounts, then deleting the old account. Frankly, it is ridiculous to go through all of this work to remove a school and go back to being unaffiliated. Additionally, there is no solution for teachers who teach at multiple schools to have an account affiliated with more than one institution.

I propose that there should be an easier way to remove a school from an account and for teachers to add more than one school if necessary.

    That's a great idea.. also the students should be able to switch schools too.. We run Kindergarten to Grade 12... and some of our students select the wrong school in schoology which makes messaging them very tricky.

    I completely agree. The system for switching schools should generally be easier.

    I believe this is very important! I have already sent a message about it, as McPartlin said, there are teachers who work at different institutions and this resolution would make their lives much easier.

    Hello everyone, please make sure that you "upvote" this request if you support it. You need to click the "up" arrow next to the initial post. Schoology has informed me that they will tend to the issues that have a large number of "upvotes," which shows more support.

    Would like to see some response from a schoology support team member. This post has the most attention on the support board and there has been no progress towards a resolution.
