Gradebook Grid

Follow

Idea: Show more of the gradebook grid on a screen to eliminate the need for horizontal and vertical scrolling.
Our current gradebook allows you to select the number of
columns you would like to show. It would be great to have the view/window automatically adjust as you add more grades or to be able to customize the view.

Another idea to make entering grades faster: Is it possible to click on a student submission from the grade book window and have it take you to that student’s work. Currently teachers click on the title of the assignment and then have to scroll to the student’s name. Thanks for considering.

I totally agree with Benjamin. I instinctively click on a student's submission icon in the gradebook thinking it will take me to the submission.

This would really help. For some reason, I have a hard time grabbing the scroll bars with my mouse and it can get really frustrating. This is especially true when entering a lot of grades from a different source. Only Enterprise users can upload grades from a .csv file and this gets pretty time consuming. This option would at least speed things up.

How can I change the width of the columns?

Our teachers would like to see this as well.  Our Skyward gradebook default grid displays 22 students by 15 assignments.  The Schoology gradebook default grid displays 11 students by 7 assignments.

On a side-note, our teachers have been pleased with the improvements to the Gradebook, such as with the Missing Grade now passing back to our SIS gradebook.  This change would be another well-received adjustment!
