Copy Individual Rubrics to Courses

Follow

Can you add the feature to only copy one rubric at a time to courses?

Right now, when I create a new rubric and want to copy it to other courses, it copies all of the rubrics again, so I end up with multiples of the same rubric in my classes.  It is very frustrating and time consuming to go through and figure out which rubrics are copies and then to delete the extras.

Thank you for your consideration!

YES! We are happy to announce that rubrics can now be individually copied to resources where you can store them or copy those rubrics to other courses!

For more information, check our our Release Notes here: https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/articles/204140518-Schoology-Release-Notes-Q1-2015-Web

    Thank you!

I agree, could they go into a database that we could access in other courses? They suck to recreate.

Please Add! This is VERY time consuming. I add new rubrics almost every week and then have to delete the duplicates. It wastes over 1/2 hour of my time every week.

This would be such a time saver! I waste SO MUCH TIME copying duplicate rubrics and then deleting them from all my courses! Please fix!!!

This is a feature that would be extremely helpful in saving time! It has gotten to the point where it is more efficient to create a new rubric in each of my classes, rather than spend time deleting the duplicates. Please add a feature to be able to copy individual rubrics.

I agree. Multiples of the same rubric get posted.

I do not have direct answer, but I have a work-around. I created an "empty course" - a course that will never be populated - let's call it "Period Zero." In this course I create the ONE rubric I need, and then I copy it to the courses I need. Once this process is done, I delete it immediately. It is not an elegant process, and I do hope that Schoology addresses this issue soon, but it beats having to delete unwanted duplicated rubrics per course every time. I hope it helps.
